July 29, 2008.  It’s official.  The 2008-09 Financial Year is our busiest year to date.  The demand for our services has increased significantly to support the mining and transport infrastructure sectors.  All indicators at this point seem to be showing that 2009-10 will see further increases in demand for services.  We are looking forward to the challenge.

May 2-3, 2008.  Come and visit us at the SSI Northern Group Conference at Port Douglas.  We will be exhibiting at the conference and it is a great opportunity to meet and chat about what is new in Aerial Surveying. 

December 24, 2007.  We will be back after a short break.  Schlencker Mapping would like to thank all who have worked with us over the past 12 months and we which everyone a safe, happy and holy Christmas and a successful New Year.  We will be ready for business as usual on January 2, 2008.

November 3, 2007. Two new faces.  Increasing demand for services has brought about the need to increase the size of our production team.  We have taken on board two new staff as photogrammetry trainees.  We would like to welcome Tim Rusden and Ben Cleaver to the team.  This is part of our contribution to building the spatial industry here in Australia and not resorting to outsourcing offshore.

Schlencker Mapping Pty Ltd is recognised by many organisations, as the industry leader in the planning and delivery of mapping and imagery data to a broad range of clients in a wide range of business sectors. This fact is reflected in our recent success of being selected by Pine Rivers and Maroochy Councils to implement and deliver their 2007 Digital Orthophoto programs. At the beginning of September we were selected by Translink to provide high precision mapping for the engineering design phase of one of its major projects. The value of the Translink project is in excess of $300,000 and is perhaps the largest photogrammetric project to be undertaken in Queensland this year.
